I have spent over 30 years working directly inside dental practices, not in a classroom, not studying theory borrowed from other industries. I started my career as a dental nurse and built my understanding of what makes a practice truly perform from the ground up: chairside, at reception, in consultations, in management meetings, and in every conversation that happens between a patient and a team.

I became one of the first professionals in the UK to train and implement the Treatment Coordinator role at scale. Over the last 18 years I have coached, consulted and trained thousands of dental professionals, helping practices create more structured patient journeys, stronger team communication and higher treatment acceptance.

In 2024 I stepped back into practice life as an equal business partner within a squat clinic — leading the patient journey, recruiting and training the team, and personally stepping back into the TCO role myself. Not from the sidelines. From inside the business.

That experience validated everything I had spent decades teaching: when communication, patient experience, team accountability and operational systems align properly, practices perform differently.
